SMART4ALL family mourns the loss of Prof. Béla Fehér, a great friend, colleague and scientist.
Béla was the Director of the FPGA and Embedded Systems Design Laboratory at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) where he served as an associate professor since 1983. He participated in many national and European research projects and he was the co-founder of FPGArt Ltd., a SME specializing in design services. He served for many years as an expert for the European Commission and he was an active member of the HiPEAC network of excellence.
As member of SMART4ALL consortium, Béla was the leader of the Digitized Anything Task Force and the SMART4ALL contact point for East Europe.
