Project Description
This experiment exchanges knowledge and experience between Obuda University (OU) and MoDrone (MoD), which will be the leading organization and sending partner in this experiment. MoD company creates reliable, secure and cost-effective solutions in the field of autonomous drone management. The host partner, OU has experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), fuzzy systems, genetic algorithm (GA) based path planning, localization methods, and various map creation methods. Collaboration between OU and MoD will transfer knowledge from academia to industry: MoD will gain knowledge on integrating AI-based solutions for 3D path planning of drones, leading to investigating new strategies in optimized path planning, by improving the performance of existing drones. Based on the existing experiment, the new path planning (PPL) method will be applied as energy-optimized, thus reducing drone battery consumption.
